Toiny Bay beach

We went to Le Toiny's Thursday night beach Extravaganza. Food, service, and location were excellent. However, it wasn't the evening I wanted, so just leaving this here to help other folks plan and set expectations. Couple of thoughts on the extravaganza vibe: 1. The music is LOUD. Like it starts off the evening where you have to shout to be heard at dinner, and then they crank it up to where you can't hear anything else at all. 2. We couldn't see the fire dancers at all - I imagine only people in the front row of tables could. 3. The dancers they had coming through the tables were great, very cool.

Disappointing experience with amateurish management (one in particular) makes for a poor experience at what could be a top notch resort. We had a bad experience with poor service at their beach club restaurant, pushy alcohol service, combattive reaction to comments, plates not being removed, …hotel tried to resolve only for me to realize our bad service was from the manager they sent to resolve our issue. Instead of apologizing, said manager tried to convince me I was in the wrong. Next time, I’m sticking to a real 5 star, The Carl Gustav

We were so impressed with the peaceful relaxing quality of this hotel. All the staff we worked with were friendly and professional. I felt like we were in a beautiful high end hotel room set into the side of a tropical mountainside. The view was far enough from the water to avoid the salty humidity (we were also here in January) but close enough to hear the soothing sound of waves in the distance. We barely knew other guests were around, even in the villas next to ours. The restaurant was fantastic, better than some of the mainstays in town. It is on the less settled side of the island which we liked. We rented a car for daily excursions into town and the surrounding beaches and it was very nice to have our own parking spot near our room. I can't say enough it was truly worth the visit. Two years later. We returned for another long weekend. Spectacular yet again.

Excellent service! We enjoyed a beautiful evening meal poolside. Can’t wait to come back. Will definitely be staying at Le Toiny!

Stayed here for 5 nights and loved it. It is extremely private and calm. Food and service is amazing. We usually stay at a private villa when we visit St Barths so to be able to have a villa feel yet a boutique hotel with all the amenities and service needed, it is the perfect balance. The only thing I didn't love (yet my wife actually did love) was that you have to take short ride down to the beach and the beach is not really swimmable in my opinion. But - the lunch is amazing. There is also amazing hiking in the area.
