Great lido with all the facilities you could need. Drinks and food reasonably priced too. Staff super friendly and helpful. Beach and water so stunning. Really Sandy and perfectly clear waters that go out very far and shallow. Ideal for families . Not too busy either and reasonably priced. Also love the fact there are different areas for sunloungers. We stayed above the beach in a grasses area very quiet and secluded .Loved the cove lots little nooks and crannies . Would love to come back here.
Very nice and clean private beach (we also visited some free beaches around Monopoli and they were not very clean), well maintained, clean large toilettes and a restaurant with delicious food for reasonable prices. It may be a little pricey (in september, we paid 60 euros for umbrella with two sunbeds at the back row) however, the surroundings and cleanliness is worth it :)
This is a 5-star lido. If you take the time to read the reviews, most of the negative reviews highlight the higher price tag. If you’re someone who spent time and good money to travel to Puglia, then this is not where you should stop paying the extra 20 euros for a beach experience. Few things I want to note: The food. This is not grubby beach food. This is exceptionally crafted and truly remarkable Italian food. The chef clearly takes his time to make a special menu, and please make sure to check out the pasta of the day - our day was a spaghettone with chicory and clams. Phenomenal. The location. From at least the other lidos I compared, this is the only one that has a Medieval Castello in the beach backdrop in this area. It’s worth it for that alone. The beach. They comb it everyday, which is why it’s missing seaweed and other unwanted surface junk. It’s a clean, powdery sand beach with reduced waves (because of it’s angle). This place was top notch, and I firmly believe it’s worthy the higher price tag. To note: I spent 60 euros in late-September for the 4th row, two Sun beds, parking, and an umbrella. I did not make a reservation, but I also went on a Thursday. So can’t speak of its need during the rest of the year.
This maybe an amazing place as the reviews say but to be asked for €109 on the online booking for just 2 sun beds and an umbrella in the month of May is very very expensive. Unfortunately for tourists, they cannot carry a sun umbrella in their back pack when travelling so they cannot use the public beach and be shaded from the sun.
Beautiful beach but low service and high price... There is much better around...60 euro on Friday in May to be placed at 7th row when beach was empty and low hospitality... Waste of money!!!
