Narli beach

The bottom of the sea is a place you can visit in any season to enjoy a peaceful day, surrounded by magnificent attention, care, and sincerity. You can safely let the children play on the beach while you relax with a coffee on the balcony. I've been coming here for four seasons and have never left dissatisfied. This place allows you to shed all your negative energy and return home feeling peaceful, often leaving you thinking, "that's it," as you mentally linger here. I highly recommend giving it a try.

This hostel meets all the basic expectations you might have. It's located right by the sea, with spacious balconies where you can enjoy your own private barbecue. The rooms are clean, and there are plenty of shopping options nearby. It's an ideal place to relax and unwind. However, the only downside is the lack of complete silence. Stray dogs roam in front of the hostel, and there doesn't seem to be a private beach. Children and families from different areas come to swim in the section reserved for the hostel, and guests staying on the ground floor can be noisy at night. Achieving total silence is nearly impossible. Could the hostel owners do more to minimize this noise? Yes, but it seems to be run more like a family business, so adjust your expectations accordingly. In summary, if you're very sensitive to noise, keep this in mind. Despite being told that shopping options are limited, there is even a ŞOK Market nearby.

We were greeted as guests rather than customers. It's rare to find such a rich breakfast at this price in Istanbul. Everything was homemade, organic, and incredibly delicious. We've now found our go-to spot for breakfast! :)

We stumbled upon Asmalı Konak by chance and were warmly welcomed by the manager, Meral Hanım. The establishment in Erdek is modest, calm, and peaceful, much like the Narlı region. Given the challenges of Covid-19 this year, we opted to cook our own meals, so we sought out apartment-style accommodations. The place is equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, and all necessary kitchen supplies. You only need to purchase tea, sugar, breakfast items, and snacks from the nearby market (there's a Şok market very close by). The cleanliness is top-notch. As a family with two children, we chose the ground floor room, which was perfect. The sea is just a few steps from the veranda, and unlike Erdek beach, it is sandy and calm (at least in September). There's no need to carry items to the beach, and it's safe for children without constant warnings. You can also use the barbecue for dinner. A very cute dog kept us company on the veranda :) The price is reasonable for the region. I plan to give the final star at the end of our stay. Wishing them all the best.
