The beach is easily accessible via a good road, allowing for smooth driving in both directions, which is uncommon on the islands. There are two camps and a few houses located near the beach. Unfortunately, there is no shop and the beach bar was not operational during our visit. It is recommended to bring an umbrella as there is limited shade on the beach. The water is clean and the beach is a mix of fine sand and pebbles. Overall, it is worth a visit.
The beach in the northwest part of the Pelješac peninsula can be reached by a windy asphalt road. It features a beautiful pebble beach with some sandy areas in the sea, set in a dramatic location surrounded by a big canyon and hills. The water is crystal clear, offering great views of the Makarska Riviera, Biokovo mountain, and the tip of Hvar island. Parking can be challenging along the access road, and there are no public showers available. However, shade can be found under the tamarisk trees, and there is a nice beach bar located next to the campsite.
The beach lives up to its name, Divna, which means wonderful. The water is crystal clear and turquoise. During peak season, there is a beachside cafe. The only downside is the long drive and narrow road for parking.
The beach has gained popularity online, attracting more visitors, so it's best to plan ahead as the campsite may be closed to walk-ins during peak season. There is limited parking available for a few dozen cars along the road, and you can access the beach via stairs to avoid the campsite.
Der Strand ist fantastisch, mit sauberen und leichten Kieseln, kristallklarem Wasser und dem zusätzlichen Bonus, in der Nähe schnorcheln zu können.
