There is no better place on the West coast for a reef experience. We stayed a week and couldn't get it all in. The camp host Budgie and his faithful companion Jess, is such a character. Friendly and helpful and so knowledgeable which he is willing to share. We got out on the reef on the paddleboard, so many turtles! Dolphins, sharks, rays, fish and coral. We did not want to leave and will be back!
Isolated but good beach. Better with a boat. Was windy for us which is unusual, but may have been due to the Cyclone a few days before. The Eclipse which was magic and good access to arguably the best coral reef in the world.
Absolutely fantastic place to stay if you are a fisherperson. Very isolated and definitely etly only 4WD. Flies +++++ infinity. But beautiful BYO everything, including flynets and fly traps, that's why it's so beautiful
Beautiful spot right in the beach in a somewhat protected bay. Ningaloo Reef is about 800m off the beach. No amenities so you must be self contained. Track in is rough so do tyre pressures. You must report to the station house before heading to the camp areas.
This was our favourite WA experience so far!!! Sheltered bay! No wind, no flies, no bugs or bities!! Crystal clear water, with waterfront campsite on number 29. Camp hosts were lovely and helpful. Absolute paradise!!!!
