The campsite is a small and quiet place directly on the shores of beautiful Lago di Caldonazzo. The train is easy to get used to and therefore not a reason to stay away. The lake is great for swimming, sailing, supping, surfing, etc. Small motorboats are allowed, but heartly there. Renting surfequipment is possible in the harbour next door. There are two buildings with showers, toilets, dishwashing and laundry options on site. Both were cleaned once a day while I was there. Toiletpapier available most of the time. The facilities are okay, I have seen better, but also much worse. The pitches are not too small, compared to other Italian campsites. Not all have (a lot of) shade. Cars are placed in the pitch when you are on the regular pitches. The rows on the lakeside, and direct behind park their cars next to the 'main street'. Still very close to your pitch. A small supermarket is at a 5 minute walk outside of the camping, so you can get fresh bread every morning. Bigger supermarkets and bakeries are easy to reach by car. A small but very well equipped fruit and vegetable place is at a 10 minute walk, high quality products there! The two restaurants/hotels closeby both have good food and takeaway coffee. The surroundings are diverse and beautiful. From the bigger city Trento with enough to see, to the Lupa di Lagorai, several walks, little markets, etc. for every liking enough to choose from. All in all a great place, we will be back for another holiday.
top location directly at the lake. clean bathrooms while a bit tight which isn't really an issue. spaces are okay. we paid 45€ for a van, 2 adults and a baby (for free) which seems really a lot. Electricity is included as is hot water. very nice walk at the biking lane close-by.
it is a nice camping from where you can start hiking, cycling, swimming, enjoying mountain view. But...the staff didn't welcome us when we arrived. The showers were clean, but most of the time only cold water. There was not any toilet paper. The camping spots didn't have a lot of trees, so very hot during the day. And really sqeezed with all cars around the tents. You have to pay for Wifi, and in the evening you even had a bad connection. Noisy, as you can hear the cars from the main road. But there is a restaurant, located 300m next to the camping, which is very good.
Very dirty toilets that seemingly were not cleaned while we were staying there, but we only stayed for 24 hours. The place is overcrowded but the view from the beach is nice. Bikes are staying at the back of the camp, further away from the beach.
Lovely seated at lake side!! Mobile pkace not cheap but withtent...Great stay..swim at sunset. Good treated by receptionists when needing special help on a Sunday. No coffee or drinks in june...so for morning espresso to next camping. Bit noisy at night with highroad up traffic. Lucky; No train.
