The water is incredibly clear, allowing you to spot the corals even while walking on the pier. I made my way here from Long Beach, which some people consider a bit of a trek, but it's actually a very short walk 😁. The season is over, and I'll be staying in the Perhentian Islands from 29th October to 1st November, and it seems like 99% of the places are closed. It's great to have all the beaches and attractions to myself, but finding a place to grab some food or even a drink is proving to be quite challenging 😁.
The beach is absolutely stunning, with its crystal-clear blue waters, pristine white sand, and majestic palm trees. It's not overly crowded, and there are plenty of shops that offer scuba diving, snorkeling, and water taxis. Additionally, there are a few charming cafes and restaurants to enjoy.
The Perhentian Island is well-known for its popular dive and snorkeling spots, where you can witness the stunning array of colorful coral and marine species. Dive trips can be easily arranged at the island's diving centers, where professional dive masters will assist you.
Compared to Long Beach, this beach is a much more pleasant spot to relax or hang out. There are plenty of shaded areas and the water is much calmer. It was enjoyable to jump into the deep waters from the jetty. Additionally, it's even possible to spot baby sharks in the water beneath the jetty.
This beach is a great place to unwind, far from the hustle and bustle of Long Beach. You can find shade under the trees, but watch out for falling coconuts! There's also a platform where you can swim out to. The water is mostly sandy, so it's not too rocky, and you might even spot some fish while snorkeling. All in all, if you're seeking relaxation, I would definitely recommend this beach.
