Playa I'xchel beach

Here is the good, the bad and the ugly. Jose & Carmen are very attentive and took excellent care of us. The house was clean. The view is phenomenal. We hired the Chef and her food was amazing. Worth every penny. I had the in-house massage and it was amazing as well. The rooms are large, the beds are comfy. It accommodated all 9 of us very well. The pool is great! Not Recommended: Do your own booking for excursions. There was confusion, the booking was wrong, the company had not been paid and it caused delays, aggravation and it did not meet expectations. What was "sold" and what was "delivered" was not the same. The pictured boat was nice, what we got on, was not. The exclusion was supposed to be 4 hrs but its was less than 2. The issues: The master showered partially worked. The shower in my bathroom had zero pressure. In the other bathrooms took 15 minutes for warm water to show up and then it was either very hot or cold - no regulation. The dishwasher didn' work, the over was hit or miss, the "grill" (charcoal and tiny) was hmmm (but it did work) , the cushions in the lounge chairs have seen their better days and need to be replaced. I was there with another friend - my friend booked so I can't leave a review on AIRbnb - I had seen that another reviewer commented about the shower and the owner was abrasive in her response - "we have 7 bathrooms" - the reason we rented the house is because each room had a bathroom . Expecting that everything would work is reasonable. The house is beautiful - the things broken could easily be fixed . I would inquire if they were fixed before going - they are selling luxury and luxury includes working appliances and showers. Tulum was awesome. Hire the chef!

Great place! The pool is beautiful! Rooms are comfortable and luxurious. The view is astonishing! Friendly staff and great location. Everything you need for a great vacation. Strongly recommended!

My family and I had so much fun in Tulum, and Hacienda Tankah definitely exceeded my expectations! Everything was super clean, well organized and beautifully decorated. The staff in charge was very helpful and provided us with the best recommendations to make the most of our trip. I will definitely be back with my friends next time!! Gracias!!

Beautiful and relaxing place. Couldn’t have chosen a better place to enjoy my vacation. The pool is amazing, pictures there are the best with the ocean in the back. Definitely, I will go back!

This was the best vacation stay we’ve had from the amazing view to the best food, definitely recommend staying at least a week to get the best experience.
