This spot was by far the best beach side restaurant that we visited in Loreto. The staff is super nice, knowledgeable, and spoke English beautifully. The food was yummy and the view was super relaxing. I hope to go back one day soon - it’s a very special spot. Roads going in and out are easy to navigate on a dry day. Just use your brain, honk at blind spots, take it slow, avoid the bigger rocks and keep going even when you start to wonder if you will make it. Riches await the adventurous at heart. Be prepared to ignore Google about 2/3 of the way there and keep on the obvious road. We drove it in a normal car just fine. I hope to return soon.
We were so lucky to experience this restaurant and meet Diego, the owner who made us feel welcomed. As a couple with children who travel year round looking for good food around the globe- this ranks in our top 10 experiences around the world. The ceviche with scallops was the best I’ve ever had and now I feel like I can’t even order ceviche anymore without being disappointed. The ambience is breathtaking and in between eating and drinking- we were able to jump into the ocean and take a cool dip. When I say experience- I mean we stayed there for 5 hours and only left because our taxi to go home. This is probably one of the first truly off the grid locations we’ve taken our kids (meaning NO phone signal/wifi) and even then they didn’t complain once! With the sea, the dogs and the food- they were truly content.
A stunning restaurant with amazing personal service and an unbeatable location. A mostly fresh fish menu, definitely try the mixed seafood quesadillas and don’t miss the jalapeños that are served upon seating - so good. Really nice people and a very special place. The road to get there is challenging but you can do it!
Very definitely a challenging ride to get there, but VERY definitely worth it. The host (Diego) was a delightful adviser regarding the menu and the meal was superior to anything else we ate in Loreto. Do yourself a favor and go there. If the road bothers you, get over it -- the food and service are ample reward for a little perseverance.
The drive to this place is treacherous, intense jutting rocks and tight narrow roads. Clams are ground up in to a clam mixture with cheese on top. Nothing special. Drinks are great and my shrimp burger was the best I had in Loreto. Fish was fresh and view is stunning. Only three stars because the road is intense and clams are a scam
