I absolutely adore being in nature, especially by the ocean. It's both powerful and serene... and they have all the modern conveniences like a park and restrooms.
It's an excellent spot for paddle boarding, and it's also suitable for families.
The beach is absolutely stunning and offers a variety of activities. It's conveniently located right next to Duder Regional Park, with two different walkways to access it. One path leads directly from the beach, while the other takes you through the cliff, but only during low tide. Additionally, the beach serves as a gateway to Clevedon, which is a junction leading to Kawakawa Bay or Auckland.
This beach is a fantastic place for a picnic since it's not very crowded, but it's not ideal for swimming due to the muddy and shell-filled water.
The beach is really nice and there is also a reserve and marae.
