I'm thrilled to have discovered a west coast beach that is peaceful enough for me to swim in despite being a bit timid. It's truly a special place with a lovely grassy area offering some shade, as well as a charming Pohutukawa-shaded spot on the beach.
I visited the beach for fishing, and it was a beautiful place. Unfortunately, we didn't have much luck catching fish, possibly because we may have missed the best time for fishing. I did catch a stingray that ended up breaking my new fishing rod in half. Despite the setback, I plan to return and give it another try.
The beach is peaceful and quiet, but there are only a few parking spots available. If you plan on fishing from the rocks, be cautious of high tides as they can rise quickly and trap you.
One of the most peaceful bays, full of life. It was so peaceful that even a beginner like me felt completely relaxed. I loved every moment, even when we had to hurry to the car to avoid the rain on the way home.
This beach is truly amazing. The car park is quite small, as is the alternative one. However, there are plenty of places to play and seek shelter from the sun. The picnic spots are absolutely beautiful. It's important to be cautious of the Pacific Ocean waters, as is typical of the West Coast. My favorite find was the oyster heart 😊.
