Great spot to visit. Plenty of walking opportunities. It's a charming small island that took us roughly 40 minutes to walk around completely, but there isn't much to do there. There are no food or water facilities, so it's highly recommended to bring your own supplies before arriving. We took about 20 minutes to reach Saint John Island by ferry from Marina South Pier Ferry Terminal. The ferry ride was smooth and enjoyable. We spent close to an hour exploring every corner of the island, including the Maritime Laboratory Centre, before heading over to Lazarus Island.

Great spot to escape the city's hustle and bustle. Buy a $15 ferry ticket and enjoy a full day at St. John’s and the other southern islands. You can set up camp and have a BBQ in the first-come, first-served areas.

Purchased ferry tickets through Klook (14 SGD with a $3 Gongcha voucher) on Saturday for a Sunday day trip. The redemption process at the pier was completely hassle-free. It's important to keep an eye on the ferry schedule to know when to hop on and off at St. John Island, Kusu Island, and for the return trip. The scenery is beautiful, making it a great spot for swimming and exploring. There are no shops on the islands, so be sure to bring your own snacks and water. The experience would have been even better if the weather wasn't so hot.

Staying at Otter Camp was a pleasant experience. Everything was in working order. The kitchen area was ideal for cooking and dining, equipped with a fridge and freezer. We boiled water and stored it in the provided jugs for drinking. Overall, we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, the sound of birds chirping, and the escape from vehicle noise (except for the occasional passing boat). One improvement could be the addition of accessible vending machines.
