The beach next to Sunworld is peaceful and well-maintained, with limited activities like sunbathing and swimming. Shower cabins are provided, but there aren't many shaded areas. Lounges are spread out on the lawn, a bit of a distance from the beach. There's a small hut selling drinks, including iced coconuts that can be sipped with a straw. However, they don't crack open the coconuts for you to eat the meat. During our visit, there was some construction nearby.
This beach is a must-visit, even if you're not in Phu Quoc. It's a bucket list experience with the cable car ride being absolutely majestic and surreal. It will exceed your expectations and leave you feeling satisfied. The view from the car is stunning and the ride is very affordable considering the amenities provided. Once you land, you'll be taken to a beach with crystal blue waters. The food is decent and there's a water park in the works. You could easily spend a whole day here.
The resort has a lot of potential, but it is currently under construction. Only the cable car and a few restaurants are open, including a buffet and a western restaurant. The western restaurant serves delicious hamburgers and pizza. There are lifeguards at the beach, but the sea is very rough. It's not safe for swimming, and there may not be enough waves for surfing.
The beach is really nice and the air bounce is a lot of fun. It's a good idea to bring a mat to lay on the lawn since sun beds are limited. There are palm trees providing shade and mats available. The outdoor shower is simple, and a buggy comes occasionally to take you to the cable car landing station. Meals can be eaten at the buffet restaurant, but it was too crowded for me to eat there. Despite the nearby water park construction, the beach was not affected and I was able to enjoy the sun. It's a place with potential for the future.
The usual entry fee is 500VND, but it's currently discounted to 300VND, possibly due to ongoing construction at the resort. Despite being named Pineapple Island, there are no pineapples in sight, just a crowded beach filled with Russian tourists. The beach and island are stunning, but the crowds can be overwhelming. With the construction happening, it's likely to become even busier in the future.
