The beach wasn't anything special. There were hardly any people there, probably less than 10, because there isn't much to see or do. The water was calm and pleasantly warm. We didn't come across any spots for snorkeling while we were kayaking. Nui beach, which is right next door, is a far superior place to have a good time.
I'm not sure why this beach is included in the private boat tour itineraries. The beach is just average and there isn't much to explore while snorkeling. It's better to skip this one and head directly to either Bamboo Island or Nui Bay, depending on your direction.
It's a fantastic spot to explore coral reefs and observe marine life beneath the surface!
Phi Phi has the best beach. It's possible to hike from the main town, and it's advisable to check the tide levels. When the tide is low, the water recedes significantly, making it less attractive. However, in the morning, it was the most impressive beach I've ever encountered.
I would not recommend visiting this beach, especially if it is not already part of a snorkelling tour. It is not worth the effort to walk here as the beach is unclean and poorly taken care of. Additionally, there is a failed resort construction project that has left a messy environment all around. The supposed "short cut" to the bay seems to have been cleared through a jungle that no longer exists. Overall, I would rate this beach as a 0 out of 10.
