My husband and I stayed at this beach resort for a couple of days during our holiday trip in Thailand, and we were quite disappointed with our experience despite the positive reviews and affordable price. The staff we interacted with were all very friendly, but seemed overwhelmed. We believe this resort may be better suited for families with children rather than couples looking for a romantic getaway. Upon arrival, we were shuttled to the resort by boat along with other guests and staff. Check-in was chaotic, with nearly 30 people waiting in line at the same time. Our room was not ready until almost an hour after the official check-in time. While waiting for our room, we decided to have lunch and relax by the pool. We were surprised by the condition of the resort - most of the lounge chairs were occupied, the restrooms and pool deck were messy, and there were rowdy children in the adult pool. We were also taken aback by the fact that we had to check out towels from different locations around the property, or else we would be charged. Overall, we felt that the resort was overcrowded and poorly managed, leading to inefficiencies that impacted the staff's ability to provide good service. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this resort to others.
I really enjoyed the location of this resort. It was peaceful and relaxing, and the villa room I stayed in had nice interiors. The restaurant had limited options for vegetarian Indian dishes, but we made do with what was available. The staff were all very polite and the front desk staff were welcoming and friendly. Overall, I had a great experience and left with some good memories from my time there.
The beach offers a satisfactory environment, food, and service. You can enjoy a relaxing stay surrounded by nature, with a variety of complimentary activities to keep you active. The complimentary boat service to the mainland runs every 30 minutes and operates 24 hours a day, so be sure to book in advance through the hotel. The breakfast was excellent, but the downside is that the rooms are quite old and the water heater may not work well.
This island is stunning, and the people are just as lovely. We stayed in a villa with a pool, which had everything we needed - a dryer, iron, and even extras like toothpaste, toothbrushes, and earbuds. The breakfast was delicious, and the food overall was really good. There are plenty of activities for both adults and children, including a water slide for kids, table tennis, and board games. The hotel has two large pools and a private beach, which adds to the sense of safety. Make sure to bring lots of sunscreen! The spa could use some improvement in terms of hygiene - the steam room and showers were dirty on two separate occasions. Kids will have a blast here, with set activities and a babysitting area available. Our time here was definitely worth it, and we are grateful to the staff for making our stay a memorable one.
Initial impressions of this beach were breathtaking, with stunning views and great facilities. However, construction work near the main pool left it covered in dust, which was disappointing considering the amount of money spent to visit. Service for drinks and room amenities was slow, and we had issues with the air conditioning and hot water in our suite. The staff were lovely and the food was good, although the service charge seemed unnecessary for simple tasks like handing out water bottles. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, but the overall food options were limited. While the all-inclusive stay was enjoyable for a couple of days, the food variety could become repetitive. Unfortunately, our departure was marred by a lack of assistance with luggage at the pier, leaving a family stranded with their belongings in the heat. This was a disappointing end to an otherwise pleasant stay.
