I am sorry to say that this was a very bad dining experience. Don’t know how can this place be called a steak house. Starting from the food and the steaks to sauces that weren’t made right to steaks that weren’t cooked how we wanted them. And even though we sent them back we anyways had to pay for them. Plus it is of course too expensive for such experience. Opt for other restaurants in the mandarin.
Sorry but for me is a no, especially considering the prices and the location. Service was poor, filet mignon ordered medium rare and arrived medium and chewy, spinach soggy. We got billed for stuff was not ordered Waiters a bit pushy and generally not much responsive for what is asked Not the service you expect for this type of location and prices.
I've to say the taste of Burrata, carpaccio and shrimp salad was excellent 👌🏻 Very nice view and elegant atmosphere! Big thanks to all staff for their politeness and proper service!
During our dinner with 4 people, I ate my favorite dishes against the magnificent view. Asado was very good, Celebrity salad, one of their special salads, was 10/10. We completed a pleasant night after the cocktails we drank after the meal. The interest and concern was very good.
Underwhelming Dining Experience at Carne As a passionate connoisseur of luxury dining, my expectations for a restaurant of Atelier di Carne's supposed caliber were severely disappointed. From the onset, I was given an alarming indication of the establishment's standards as I was served a glass of red wine that had been poorly stored in a fridge, making it so cold that it numbed the palate rather than stimulating it. When brought to the staff's attention, my concerns were nonchalantly dismissed with an excuse of a 'colleague's mistake'. I could have overlooked this faux pas, thinking everyone has an off-day, had the next set of incidents not further tainted my disappointment. My dining experience took a further downturn when I tried their avocado salad. In an era where avocado is rightfully hailed as the king of salads, the ones utilized by Carne were dramatically unripe, lending a bitter and inaccessible texture to a dish that should be luxuriously rich and creamily indulgent. To add another layer of unwelcome surprise, the charcoal steak, my main entree, was a far cry from its lauded reputation on the menu [125 euros for 380 grams]. The quality of charcoal used imparted an unpleasant, acrid aftertaste, subsequently ruining the unassuming flavor profile of the steak - an absolute culinary crime for a restaurant that prides itself on its superior meats. The clincher that added greatly to this disastrous dining experience was the blatant apathy and indifference shown by the waiting staff. Upon voicing concerns about these issues, their response was not of concern or a desire to amend, but rather a wilful ignorance that truly disappointed. Despite these glaring shortcomings, the final bill amounted to a 220 euros for a meal that was emphatically underwhelming. Lamentably, this experience left me feeling more like a casualty of highway robbery than a valued patron at a reputed steakhouse. In conclusion, Carne failed to deliver on its promises of a high-quality, premium dining experience, faltering on both the culinary and service fronts. Given the high price point, it is highly advisable for potential diners to weigh their options before choosing this establishment. A meal at Carne simply does not warrant the investment, with much better quality available for the same price elsewhere.
