Sancak Balik Restaurant is the best restaurant near by the beach! With my girlfriend we were at the restaurant several times when we were on holydays in Mersin. Food is very delicious and staff is very very friendly. Staff really know how to make you happy ! We deffinetly reccommend restaurant to everyone who like sea food, chicken or lamb. Athmosphere there is just amazing! Two meters from the last tables and hop you are on the beach! Such a nice location!
The freshest fish,I have ever eaten!
A wonderful place by the sea. But very expensive. There is no menu (?!!!), you will find out the prices after the fact. Apparently, this is a life hack so that guests are not afraid of the prices. All meze (snacks) are paid, and no one asks whether they need to be served - they are brought a priori. Grilled fish costs 450 liras, while a little further in restaurants on the seashore the fish costs 170 liras (also very tasty). Everything is very expensive. A glass of white wine 100 lire - I didn’t like it at all. Shrimp 400 liras versus 190 liras in a restaurant nearby, similar preparation and serving size. Otherwise - excellent service, fresh food.
There is no menu with prices; the waiter found it difficult to name the cost of the dishes. The only thing the waiter could name was the cost of the meze from 50 liras (a tiny portion). The room is smoky. There is no service on the terrace in winter. Fish and chicken dishes, no meat. We went to another place.
Disgrace, Disgrace, Disgrace, the fish costs 500 per kilo, salad came for 2, 4 salads were paid for, they wrote that 2 came for 3, we ordered the drink from there, but we were charged a cover fee, as if we took the fish and the drink with us, they wrote down a cover fee, even for a 3-year-old child. Even in a 5-star hotel, they don't charge a fee for people under the age of 12. In short, don't go to anyone. Do not recommend, we saw the bill, we told them that we will make up for it the next time you come, in short, they admitted it themselves, we were disgraced for what they went through, the business should urgently come to its senses in front of our guest.
