Karatas beach III

Fantastic spot for unwinding. The sea is clean, and the beach is regularly maintained. Both the shore and the sea are sandy. The water is shallow, making it perfect for a family vacation with kids. There's a cafe with an open veranda, and you also have the option to bring your own food.

The beach is clean, but the service leaves much to be desired. Something as basic as ice was unavailable. We arrived at 11 am, and by 6 pm, there wasn't even any cold water left. They start shouting for people to get out of the sea at 7 pm, even though it officially closes at 7:30 pm. It feels like they think they own the sea and the beach. You can bring your own drinks and food, and I'll include the prices, but you also have the option to eat there. They charged 100₺ per person at the entrance, but after that, it feels like a public beach. Unlike a pleasant public beach where they play music, there was none here. Overall, I'd rate it 5/10.

My wife, friends, and I visited in July 2023. The beach opens at 8:30 AM. We tried to make a reservation over the phone, but they informed us that reservations are not accepted. If you plan to visit on the weekend, I still recommend calling ahead to check. The entrance fee is 100 TL per person, which includes sunbeds, umbrellas, and showers. It's definitely worth it. The beach and sea are stunning. Bring your spouse or partner; you won't regret it. There's also a small café on-site. While it's not the cheapest, it's reasonably priced. A hamburger costs 75 TL, and Turkish coffee is 25 TL. You place your order, pay, and they deliver it when ready. The service is excellent. Additionally, if you bring your own breakfast, you can eat it at the tables provided; I saw a few people doing this. This was our first visit, and we enjoyed it immensely. We're already planning to return soon.

The place was nice, but my friends made a mistake. They posted online that there is no fee for children under 15. However, when we arrived, we were told that the no-fee policy only applies to children under 10. When I inquired about the discrepancy, the response was simply, "I changed it."

This is a lovely establishment. Make sure to arrive before 10 o'clock on Saturdays and during the peak season, as seats fill up quickly. The beach is pristine, and the sea is exceptionally clean and calm. The entrance fee is 100 TL per person, and you are allowed to bring your own water or cold drinks in a thermos. I would definitely choose this place again.
