Nice beach and a good seafood takeaway. Parking can be, at times, a bit of a nightmare. If you're not used to narrow roads with passing places, or you're not very good at reversing, I'd say this isn't the beach for you.
Beesands is a beautiful place. A narrow windy road takes you down to this working fishing hamlet. Views across this wide bay, you can sit on the stoney beach or on the rocks depending on the tide. Plenty of people fish from the beach. Perfect place to sit and watch the world go by. Enjoy the excellent fish and chips, or the pub. You can also walk from here. It's slowly becoming more popular, parking is limited and you will sometimes find yourself driving up and down looking for a space. We've been visiting for many years and it always is beautiful and quite peaceful. There are picnic tables available near the fish and chip shop. It is a dog friendly beach.
Simple pebble beach with large wave breaker boulders. Excellent fish restaurant next to the car park and good cliff walks nearby. A good point to walk toward the lighthouse by the peninsula.
Fantastic beach with amazing views. Shame it's never been the same since the storms wiped out half the beach and parking spaces.
A brilliant, quieter beach.. free parking with it's mostly pebble and softer shingle towards the end.. a little bit of a trek so not packed like other Devon holiday time beaches.. great for tea time mackerel fishing and safe for swimming although there is a rip tide closer to the orange marker bouys
