The park is very nice and not too crowded.
There are plenty of activities to choose from, including beach lounging and hiking. The beach is spacious and open, and the large rock is a standout feature that I really enjoy.
This beach is stunning, with ample parking and a short hike to reach the shore. It feels like a peaceful oasis, and nearby there is a horse and camel riding service. The charming seaside town of Pacific City is within walking distance, offering groceries, gas, and a variety of dining options. This park is designated for day use only, with a $10 fee that is definitely worth it.
The beach is stunning! We went from Monday to Thursday and found it much quieter than the beach near Pelican Brewery/Cape Kiwanda. Just be aware that there is a steep walk back up the dune that some people may find difficult.
This beach along the Oregon coast is absolutely stunning. It's best to arrive early on weekends to secure a parking spot, but if you take a walk south along the spit, you can quickly escape the crowds. The rolling hill of grass is a lovely area to explore as well. The only downside is that it's a popular spot for horseback riders, so there is quite a bit of horse poop on the beach. I wish horse owners would clean up after their animals like dog owners are expected to. Maybe they could use special diapers or find another way to keep the beach clean.
