I don't think I will ever stay in another place like this again in my life. From the moment we turned the corner on the boat and saw the stunningly clear blue sea and the waving mangroves, Fundu Lagoon completely amazed us. I was honestly so moved by the beauty of it all. Our stay was absolutely amazing. The General Manager, Hannes, was incredible and upgraded us to the Superior Suite for our Honeymoon. The Superior Suite was fantastic and we felt incredibly fortunate to have been upgraded. The staff were extremely professional and always went above and beyond to ensure we had the best service and everything we needed. Now, let's talk about the food and drinks - WOW! The food was absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh, with a quality that was top-notch. A big thank you to the chef and the team for providing a variety of meals during our 9-night stay and for organizing a fantastic beach BBQ, as well as a private dinner for my husband and me. We also went on a couple of day trips, including snorkeling to Misali Island and Dolphin Watching. Both trips are highly recommended and were definite highlights of our stay. I can't recommend this place enough, it truly feels like being in Paradise, with its beautiful beaches, impeccable service, and fantastic facilities like the pool and bars. If you're trying to decide whether to visit Fundu Lagoon, I honestly would recommend it because you won't be disappointed!

Pemba Island in Sansibar ist ein wirklich atemberaubendes Reiseziel. Es ist unberührt geblieben und behält seine natürliche Schönheit bei. Das Fundu Lodge hat einen bemerkenswerten Job gemacht, eine luxuriöse und zugleich unprätentiöse Unterkunft direkt am Lagunenstrand zu schaffen, umgeben von schönen Bäumen und Gärten, die verschiedenen Vögeln, Schmetterlingen und sogar gut erzogenen Affen ein Zuhause bieten. Bei der Ankunft war ich überwältigt vor Glück und fühlte echte Traurigkeit, als es Zeit war zu gehen.

Die Pemba Lodge ist die einzige Unterkunft an diesem großen weißen Sandstrand (sehr sauber und natürlich, Schwimmen nur bei Flut möglich). Es ist der perfekte ruhige Ort zum Entspannen. Die Zimmer in den Kabinen sind groß und komfortabel und verfügen über einen eigenen Balkon. Das Restaurant bietet gutes lokales Essen. Wir haben auch Kajakfahren und Schnorcheln genossen - einige der angebotenen Aktivitäten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Da ich die Zeit sehr genossen habe, habe ich meinen Aufenthalt um weitere 5 Tage verlängert :-)
