Super entspannter Strand mit vielen Aktivitäten vor Ort. Es gibt einige Bauarbeiten in der Nähe des Eingangs, Besucher bitte aufpassen. Wir sind die Pier entlang gegangen und das Wasser des Sees war flach und kristallklar. Die Toiletten waren anständig. Es gibt Plätze zum Grillen im Schatten der Bäume. Toller Blick auf den Lake Huron. Eiscreme gleich um die Ecke bei DQ. Werden bald definitiv wiederkommen.

Wunderschöner, atemberaubender Blick auf den See. Wir waren an einem sehr windigen Tag dort, konnten also nicht lange draußen bleiben und nicht ins Wasser gehen wegen der Kälte. Trotz des Wetters ist es ein spektakulärer Ort für die Aussicht.

Der Beach Park ist fantastisch, obwohl der Seespiegel seine Größe erheblich verringert hat. Von der Overlook -Deck aus können Sie einen schönen Blick auf den Teich/Sumpfgebiet genießen, wo Sie leicht verschiedene Arten von Vögeln erkennen können. Das Tierheim ist ein perfekter Ort für ein Picknick, und die Küste ist klar genug für einen angenehmen Spaziergang mit einer Meile. Letztes Jahr haben wir Zeuge des Nistens von Rohrböden miterlebt, und es gibt eine Fülle von Sandpipern. Während unseres Abendspaziergangs waren wir begeistert, einen Weißkopfseeadler auf einem Baum zu sehen.

Der Strand ist absolut atemberaubend. Es ist ein fantastischer und gelassener Ort zu besuchen. Das Wasser ist kristallklar und flach und macht es für Kinder perfekt zu genießen. Insgesamt war es eine erstaunliche Erfahrung an diesem Strand.

I booked online and when I got to the hotel, price was almost $100 more. The front desk person was a liar. Said I would get my $50 deposit back as soon as the charge went through. Told me I talked to the manager, never was contacted nor seen her. Corporate take over off hotels produce liars. Waiting for my refund and still after being back home to hear back from the manager. My booking included taxes—very clear on my statement when I booked online, the front desk person said it didn’t. I had to point out to her that I’m very literate and showed her that it did. Multiple ppl complained about their room while I was there. Service was also trash. My phone kept ringing all hours of the night waking me up. I asked for extra towels. Five hours later, they came with extra towels. Service poor, not family-owned. Service degraded and prices appalling. Booking online is completely different pricing. They refuse to honor the price you book. They lay off employees to nickel and dime their profit. Do not stay here. Will never book here again.

You have to appreciate this place for what it is. It is not fancy or polished but that adds to its charms. The owners are wonderfully polite and personable. The rooms and resort are small but full of character and are very comfortable. The location is awesome. We made a point of watching the sunrise every morning. It was different & beautiful each day. My family loved sitting on the beach around the fire. My toddler daughter spent her time playing in the sand and on the playground. My teenagers went swimming, read books, & played games. It was a great trip and we wanted to stay longer. We loved our visit and plan to return.

The best thing about this place is its location, location, location. The beach is very nice, but be cautious around the bonfire areas as we found buried metal marshmallow sticks in the sand! We rented cottage 12, and it was less than desirable for $250 a night. There were no towels or even liquid hand soap, which would have been nice to know before arriving. The appliances were rusty, and there was sand on the floors. There wasn't a single hook on the wall or any place to hang something up, and no table in the bedroom to set anything on. The TV was nice, but the couches were stained. Theresa is very nice. If I were paying $150 a night, it would be okay, but for $250, they could do better. Calling this a luxury resort is deceiving at best.

I've been coming here since childhood. After a few years' break, we decided to revive the tradition with our own kids. The cabins are somewhat rustic and could use an update, but if that doesn't bother you, everything else is fantastic. There's air conditioning and ceiling fans to keep you cool, plus WiFi and Roku for streaming on rainy days. The beach is spacious with plenty of room for activities. There are multiple fire pits and nice playgrounds on site. The enclosed pavilion features a pool table and ping-pong. The staff is friendly and helpful, promptly addressing any issues that arise. We all had a great time and plan to return next year!
