This beach is truly incredible! It's a bit of a drive and a trek down some steps, but it's absolutely worth it. It's the top beach in Crete! You can rent sunbeds for a small fee and have food and drinks brought right to you or enjoy them at the bar.
This beach in the south of Crete is one of the rare spots with fine sand. It's fantastic, although there are a few steps to navigate to get down to it. The beach is clean and well taken care of, with calm water that's perfect for young swimmers. The shallow rocky outcrops on either side, ranging from 4 to 10 feet in depth, are easy to swim out to and offer great snorkeling opportunities.
This beach is fantastic. In my opinion, it's one of the top 5 beaches in Crete. The sand is very fine, the water is crystal clear, and it's easy to get in and out of the water. It's great for kids and there are some good spots for snorkeling near the rocks. You can easily drive to an organized parking area and then just take a few steps to the beach. The beach is divided into two sections: one with sun beds for rent (10€ per set) and a beach bar, and the other half is free. The beach bar has a good selection of food and drinks at average prices. On weekends, there's a DJ playing on the beach. This is a beach that I would definitely come back to, even though I usually only visit a beach for one day.
This beach is a beautiful and peaceful spot, ideal for families with young children due to its large plateau area. It was the highlight of our week-long trip exploring the east of Crete. The prices are very reasonable.
The beach is stunning, with soft sand and a gentle slope into the water. It's well-maintained and spacious, with a beach bar that wasn't too loud when I visited. If you want to use the sunbeds, it costs 6 euros for 2 bottles of water. It does get busy around midday.
