Difficult to access, down some narrow and steep steps but worth the walk. It is not a long walk down from the carpark and reasonably fit people should have little trouble. The beach is small but on the day we visited only a few groups were present. Nice and quiet with a sandy beach and calm sea for swimming.
Day pass tickets were on a QR code displayed on the parking ticket machines. Amazing look out near the parking and a 20 min bush track to get to the secluded beach. Must visit!!
Lovely little beach tucked away in the Eastern side of the Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park. Prepare for around 15-20mins hike as there’s plenty of steps heading towards the beach from the West Head Lookout This place is a secluded narrow beach with few rock formations just right in front of the beach. As there’s not enough space and shade at this spot, so prepare to bring your sunshade or umbrella for a nice relaxing time at the beach. It also seemed to have bigger and stronger waves here than nearby Resolute Beach, not sure if it’s always like this. This might be suitable for some private time for couples to relax but not really for family with kids.
Really nice and quiet beach. Water is so clear and calm. One of the best I’ve been in Australia.
We started at West Head Lookout and took the Resolute Track. The way down is very steep but it is worth the walk. You can see Station Beach and Barrenjoy Light House clearly. Good picnic spot too!
